4,338ep. 7 "jj's Sex Life" Apr 2026
JJ looked at the tally marks. He realized he’d been counting moments instead of living them. He stood up, grabbed a towel, and wiped the mirror clean, erasing the 4,338 days of pressure he’d built up in his head.
The neon "Open" sign hummed outside the window, casting a flickering red glow over JJ’s cluttered apartment. Episode 4,338 of his life was supposed to be a milestone, or at least that’s what the tally marks on his bathroom mirror suggested. 4,338Ep. 7 "JJ'S SEX LIFE"
“It’s about the fact that Sarah thinks I’m this cool, collected architect,” JJ muttered. “She doesn't know that when the lights go down, I’m terrified I’ll forget how to be… human. That I’ll just be another tally on a mirror in a room that smells like old coffee and anxiety.” JJ looked at the tally marks
“It’s not just about the act, Maya,” JJ said, running a hand through his hair. “It’s the ritual. The expectation. Every time I get close to someone, it feels like I’m performing a role in a play I never auditioned for. Ep. 7 of this specific saga is always where I trip up.” The neon "Open" sign hummed outside the window,
“Episode 7,” JJ whispered, looking at his clear reflection. “Let’s try a different script tonight.”
“You’re overthinking it,” a voice said from the doorway. It was Maya, his oldest friend and the only person allowed to see him this unraveled. She was leaning against the frame, holding two lukewarm coffees.
He picked up his phone and sent Sarah a text: “Hey. I’m a little nervous about tonight. Can we just order pizza and talk first?”

Just one question – if you love openBSD so much – why do you install it in virtual machine, not real hardware? 😉
Because I could not make screenshots otherwise! 🙂
Well done, just what I was looking for. Thanks.
On an ASUS E200HA, ifconfig -a only shows the loopback device, nothing else … What now?
Hi henry, I do not know what happened but it seems like your network interfaces were not detected. Maybe try the OpenBSD Networking FAQ: https://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq6.html ? Hope this helps.
Ha wow! Just installed my first Openbsd. I remembered me installing my first Linux, like 23 years ago. Loved that!
