This episode officially reunites the audience with the main cast following the four-episode flashback focused on Dazai's past.
Watch these breakdowns and reviews to see the Three Companies Conflict in action:
The story follows Kyouka Izumi as she attempts her first official job at the Armed Detective Agency: delivering documents to a judge. Despite her best intentions, her assassin instincts kick in, and she tasers the guards and the judge to complete the task "efficiently".
While Atsushi tries to comfort her afterward, the unthinkable occurs: Kyouka's deactivated cell phone rings. The caller is Kōyō Ozaki, a Port Mafia executive with an ability strikingly similar to Kyouka's. Kōyō uses her "Golden Demon" to attack Atsushi and attempt to bring Kyouka back to the Port Mafia, claiming that "people of the dark" can never truly live in the light.
