On the third night, the download finally hit 100%. As the file landed in his directory, the hum stopped instantly, replaced by a silence so heavy it felt like pressure against his ears. He opened his extraction tool. To see the contents, all five parts had to be present. He selected the first volume and clicked "Extract."
