The speakers crackled to life with a sound like a thousand dial-up modems screaming in unison. A voice, synthesized and cold, whispered through the static: "Face Konati successfully installed."
Leo froze. He hadn't touched his camera settings in months. On the screen, a small terminal window popped up, scrolling text at light speed: ACCESSING BIOMETRIC OVERLAY... MAPPING FACIAL STRUCTURE... KONATI INITIALIZED.
"That’s way too small for a full skin pack," Leo muttered, his mouse hovering over the download button. He clicked. The progress bar blinked once and finished instantly.
Underneath was a link. And within minutes, the view count began to climb.
He looked down at his keyboard. His fingers were becoming pixelated, dissolving into the very "Konati" code he had just downloaded.
