The story begins in October 2015 when French customs agents seize seven tonnes of cannabis in Paris. Hubert Antoine (Roschdy Zem), a former informant with a murky past, contacts Stéphane Vilner (Pio Marmaï), a journalist at the newspaper Libération . Hubert claims he can prove the existence of state-sanctioned drug trafficking orchestrated by Jacques Billard (Vincent Lindon), a high-ranking police official and prominent media figure.
