He approaches the "Grant-a-Dream Foundation" (a parody of Make-A-Wish) and claims that Chris is suffering from a terminal, fictional illness called "tumorsyphilis-itis-osis". His son's supposed final wish? To see " Gumbel 2 Gumbel " back on the air. From Fraud to Faith
"If I'm Dyin', I'm Lyin'": The Faith and Fraud of Peter Griffin
This lie transforms Peter into a local sensation. He is soon hailed as a god by a growing cult of followers who congregate outside his home, seeking miracles. Embracing the role, Peter begins dressing in robes and offering nonsensical "blessings" until a series of biblical-style plagues begin to strike the Griffin household, forcing a final reckoning with his honesty. Production Details Season 2, Episode 9 (2x09) Original Air Date: April 4, 2000
The episode heavily parodies the Dallas "dream" sequence and religious iconography. Director: Swinton O. Scott III
The plan is initially successful; the show is restored, and the Griffins receive a wave of public sympathy. However, the situation spirals out of control when the foundation realizes Chris isn't dying. To cover his tracks, Peter claims he has healed Chris through divine intervention.
The trouble begins when Peter and Chris’s favorite television show, the bizarre variety series " Gumbel 2 Gumbel " , is canceled. Devastated by the loss of his favorite program, Peter concocts an elaborate scheme to force the network's hand.

I chose CAE to complete my ground school as I have sometimes struggled academically and felt that, to give myself the best chance, I should go to the best school. I haven't been disappointed. All of the instructors were excellent and were always happy to help me…I genuinely think that I would have done considerably less well in my exams if it hadn't been for CAE instructors. I could not speak more highly of them and would, and will, thoroughly recommend CAE as the best school.
