Set in 1953, the story follows ( Sonakshi Sinha ), the daughter of an aristocratic Zamindar in West Bengal. Her life changes when she meets Varun Shrivastav (Ranveer Singh), an aspiring archaeologist who arrives to study the local temple’s history.
