Leo, a software developer, creates a secret spyware program called "Whisper" to protect his friend Sarah from her controlling and criminal boyfriend, Julian. After discovering Julian is using Sarah for embezzlement, Leo anonymously leaks the evidence to the police, resulting in Julian's arrest, and removes the software without a trace.
