The main plot kicks off when Wong (Benedict Wong) discovers that a former Kamar-Taj student, Donny Blaze, is using a stolen Sling Ring to spice up his lackluster magic shows at the Mystic Castle. After Blaze accidentally sends a tipsy audience member named (with two Ns and a Y, but not where you think!) through a portal and into Wong’s living room—spoiling The Sopranos in the process—Wong decides enough is enough.

Jen takes the case to court, attempting to file a cease-and-desist against Blaze.
