Dave is relieved but then immediately offended that he wasn't even important enough to be hated. The episode ends with him trying to do something "memorable" to get on her radar, only to accidentally trip and knock over a display of artisanal muffins. Abby sighs, and the "Abby-phobia" begins for real.

The rest of the group (Sarah and Marcus) try to stage an "intervention" by forcing Dave to have a one-on-one conversation with Abby.
