The movie follows , a clumsy and unsuccessful police commissioner who is on the verge of being transferred to a remote mountain village. To save his career, he goes rogue to track down a key witness named Andrea Ritter , whom his superiors mistakenly believe is a male "transvestite".
: Bellachioma finds Andrea and, despite her clearly being a woman (who was only posing as a man to hide from a killer), he continues to believe she is a man in drag for much of the film.
