While the Time Machine was the star, Version 1.06 included several "quality of life" changes that changed how players finished the game:

The "story" of is one of fulfilling a long-promised fan wish: the arrival of the Time Machine .

The update added hints to help players find those last few elusive side missions.

Bulma's father finally finished the Time Machine, located right outside Capsule Corporation in West City.

Before this update, players who finished the main story were often stuck with "missable" content. If you missed a specific sub-story during the Saiyan or Namek Sagas, it was gone forever unless you started a brand-new save file.

It addressed lingering bugs, though some players humorously noted that the Time Machine itself initially launched with a few "ripples in time" (minor bugs) that required further patching.

Players could finally go back to any completed chapter to finish missed side quests or re-experience epic boss fights with their endgame stats.

After watching the emotional ending once, players could finally skip the end credits to get back into the post-game action faster.
