You play as a protagonist who lives a quiet life until his landlady, , and his roommate, Estelle , are suddenly bought by outside patrons due to the Scarlet Law. Left with nothing, the protagonist is eventually summoned to a nearby park by a mysterious entity known as the Lady of the Lake (Azula), who is weakened and needs "essence" to materialize.
